Gaskets made from Metal or Semimetals
The spiral wound gasket withstands relatively high stresses and makes for low leakage rates if designed and manufactured to optimum standards.
Spiral Wound Gaskets are offered in different types depending on application: SWCR, SWCRD, SWCRIR, SWCRIRD, SWCRIRR, SWCRIRRD, SWCRR, SWCRRD, SWSW samt cutomized SWG (hand made).
Kamm Profile Gaskets are offered with coating of modified PTFE (FJ 2912C), graphite or the high temperature resistant material vermiculite (FJ 2815). Customised kamm profiles are available.
Metal Reinforced Gaskets are available with coating of modified PTFE, graphite, thermiculite and as customised gasket (made up).
Ring Type Joints are available in both oval and octagonal profiles, standard style R ring type joints are manufactured to meet both API 6A and ASME B16.20 sizes and ratings. Also available are Style RX ring type joints which energizes on assembly. This type is designed to fit the same groove as a style R therefore making them interchangeable. For very high pressures, often found in sub-sea wellhead and Christmas tree systems, the style BX is used. Subsea versions of all styles are available with pressure balance holes
Flange Rescue Gasket are designed for use in bolted connections that have, or may be subject to corrosion at the flange gasket surface, negating the requirement for costly and time consuming flange replacement or machining.
Profiled rubber-metal gaskets are characterized by a compressible, often wedge-shaped, rubber profile around a centering and compression-controlling core of metal. Used in all kinds of pipe flanges.
